Emily & Chris

A little about the couple:

Emily and Chris met online and instantly struck up a strong conversation. So very quickly it was decided that they should meet in person, a first date was set.

Chris was nervous about this first date, and if we are being honest here, at times Chris can be a sweater. There are two main catalysts for this. The first, if it is hot, that makes sense. The second, if he is nervous. So, heading to a hot Korean restaurant for some spicy BBQ meats in the middle of summer for a first date, that was a triple threat.

Any concerns around perspiration quickly dissipated, as Emily and Chris conversed on this first date, they both felt such a comfort with each other. What felt like twenty minutes, was actually several hours and before long they would have to call it a night. It was safe to say they both couldn’t wait for date number two…and as they say, the rest is history.

A little about their big day:

Emily and Chris chose the beautiful Immerse in the Yarra Valley as their wedding venue. One of the awesome things about Immerse as a wedding venue ( and there are many) is that they have multiple locations for you to have your ceremony, 3 in fact, with a chapel acting as a really cool indoor option. All of them with their own charm and beauty. Chris and Emily opted for an outdoor option, and it paid off, a perfect day.

One thing I noticed was that Emily and Chris showed a lot of attention to detail with their suppliers and really put in the time to make sure they got the vendor team they wanted. Everything from the stunning flowers from Flowers of Yarra Glen, to the perfect snaps from Rick Liston, capped off with the magnificent Yarra Valley wedding venue, Immerse. Well played Chris and Emily, a brilliant day!
